My story

The photograph of my collection was taken in summer of 2024. It took about 5 days to put this collection together for the picture. It was taken in my kitchen with the grateful patience of my wife. Yep we are still married. The reason I am a collector is many years ago I was looking to find my sons a league of legends gift that was rare. My 2, now adult sons have loved league of legends for the last 12 years. 

I found the Worlds and MSI plaques on offer up. At the time I did not know what Worlds or Msi were, as I didnt watch the esport side and barley played lol. After looking into it I realized these looked like event used items from Riot games. I bought the 2 plaques and gave them to my sons. After doing some searching I found pictures of each plaque being used onstage. When I found out these were actually event used items it got me thinking, almost no one must be collecting the event used items.

I knew that League of Legends was the worlds most popular game. I thought the event, promotional, employee items probably arent collected and these will be the rarest items. So I started what has been a 6 year quest to find the rarest items. I search Facebook marketplace, Offerup, Craigslist, Mercari and Ebay several times a day. I have also bought from globalbunjang in Korea using Delivered Korea, a proxy shipper. And now im part of a collecting group on discord where I found some items. 

I now play lol regularly, but I do not take it seriously, I watch every LCS/LTA, Worlds and MSI match, many LEC, LPL and LCK matches. And I love collecting. This collection will be passed down to my 2 sons in hope that when they are much older, they will be nostalgic for the game that was such a big part of their growing up.

This site is a list of what I own and what I know is out there. I hope to share it with collecting fans. I also hope to get more information on the items I own and have listed. I hope to have visitors to the site inform me of items not listed. And if im lucky acquire some rare items from visitors
